Technical Account Engineer

As a Technical Account Engineer you will:

  • Day to day service and management of clients and partners;
  • Account management by analysing client technical problems and finding solutions;
  • Provide training and demo sessions on our technology;
  • Evaluate customer implementations against best practice;
  • Work closely with our partners on technical projects;
  • Contribute to achieving revenue goals;
  • Work with product engineering on product development;
  • Build cross functional relationships with (internal) stakeholders;
  • Technically connect new partners to our platform and;
  • Ensure customer satisfaction.

Person profile

  • A technical background on bachelor or master degree, for instance Chemical or Mechanical engineering;
  • Knowledge about optics has added value;
  • Several years of experience in a similar position within (process) industry;
  • Candidates with experience for working at glass makers or OEM are preferred;
  • High level of responsibility, innovative, pragmatic, independent, representative;
  • A firm personality who is able to balance between customer and company interests;
  • Knowledge of ISO TS16 949;
  • Knowledge and experience of MS Office (Word/Excel) and statistical programs;
  • Proficiency of the English language on mother tongue is required, additional languages like Dutch, French, Italian, Polish or German is not required but surely beneficial.
